<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cover for a gas bag module having been adapted to the steering wheel, lock fitting and/or mounting panel of a vehicle. SOLUTION: This cover similar to a cover 4 made out of a real leather or an artificial leather, has the basic structure 1 of plastics including a stationary member 2, and if necessary, a masking member 3 to be covered with formed plastics, and an area is formed in the masking member 3, which is bounded through both at least one closure shaped and rated rupture line 5 formed in the thin wall part and curved lines 6, and can thereby be cleaved. Furthermore, a groove shaped pocket 8 is formed in the cover, which is extended over to the whole width of the cover along the outer side of the rated rupture line 5, and the cover 4 is thereby pressed into the groove shaped pocket 8 when a double member 9 is formed.</p> |
