<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the straight stroke in the prescribed direction without any mistakes in hitting the golf ball by notching a disk-shaped or elliptical disk-shaped forward surface to form a ball hitting surface, and performing the balancing to agree the center of gravity with the center of the disk or the elliptical disk. SOLUTION: In a head 12 of a putter 11, a disk-shaped forward surface is notched to form a ball-hitting surface 13, and a core part of a rear half part is notched in the symmetrically arc-shape to form a notched part 14, a pair of right and left weight parts 15, 16 are embedded in a forward half part, and balanced so that the center of gravity G of the head 12 is agreed with the center O of the disk as indicated in the figure. Thus, the rotational moment from the center O of the head 12 of the putter 11 is not eccentric, and the straight stroke of the head 12 becomes easy in hitting the golf ball. When a narrow contracted part 17A is provided on a neck part 17, the force in hitting the golf ball is easy to concentrate, and the neck 17 becomes easy to deflect in hitting the golf ball, thus facilitating the straight stroke.</p> |
