PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and rapidly form a coated film of titanium dioxide by site application to an existing building, a material having a large area, a material having low heat resistance, etc., by mixing a supercritical fluid with a sol of titanium oxide to give a mixed supercritical fluid, abruptly making the fluid into a reduced pressure state, spraying the fluid on the surface of target and simultaneously heating the surface of the sprayed target. SOLUTION: A supercritical fluid is mixed with titanium dioxide to give a mixed supercritical fluid, which is abruptly made into a reduced pressure state, sprayed on the surface of a target and simultaneously the surface of the sprayed target is heated to form a coated film of titanium dioxide on the surface of the target. In another method, a mixed supercritical fluid obtained by mixing a supercritical fluid with a sol of titanium dioxide can be abruptly made into a reduced pressure state and simultaneously applied to the surface of a target while being heated. A supercritical fluid comprising carbon dioxide or an alcohol (e.g. methanol) is preferable as the supercritical fluid. Titanium dioxide of anatase form is most preferable as the crystal form of titanium dioxide.
|
