PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the generation of noise and to save electric power consumption by constituting a receiving vibrator of a portable telephone, etc., of an elastic plate fixed at one end to the case of a receiver, a weight having a narrow part to be mounted at the other end of this elastic plate and piezoelectric ceramic vibrators stuck to the elastic plate. SOLUTION: The receiving vibrator is constituted by mounting the weight 3, which is formed by connecting a first weight part 3a and a second weight part 3b by a connecting member 4, to the other end of the U-shaped elastic strip 1 of a stainless steel, etc., provided with the fixing part 6 to be fixed at one end to the case of the portable telephone by means of a fixing member 5a and sticking two sheets of the piezoelectric ceramic vibrators 2 to both surfaces of the elastic strip 1. Sinusoidal AC voltage is impressed on the piezoelectric ceramic vibrators 2 by operating a switch operation member. The vibrators, then, vibrate around the central part of the weight 3. Sensible vibration is eventually sensed to the largest extent when the conditions of driving frequency, etc., are so set that the centroid position of the weight 3 turns to the node of the vibration. |
