PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a cleaning member into piping safely and easily by a method in which after the cleaning member being inserted from an insertion pipe part into the through hole of a rotary ball member installed rotatably in a T-shaped housing member, the ball member is rotated, and the cleaning member is inserted into the piping. SOLUTION: When a cleaning member is inserted into piping for transporting fluid to be cleaned, first a cleaning member 60 is inserted from an insertion opening 35a into the through hole 51 of a rotary ball member 50 with the opening direction of the hole 51 made to accord with the insertion opening 35a of the insertion pipe part 35 of a housing member 30. Next, the opening direction of the hole 51 is made to accord with the longitudinal direction of a short pipe part 31 to be ready for cleaning the inside of piping 20. Next, pressurized fluid is supplied into the charged lees transporting piping 20 to discharge the cleaning member 60 from the ball member 50 to remove foreign matters adherent to the inner wall of the piping 20. The cleaning is preliminary washing, and usually washing is repeated several timed after the preliminary washing. |
