PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily strand relatively large wires over the whole length by surrounding each side of the other clamping member by a bracket provided on one clamping member when the clamping member of a centrifugal spring holds the wires to eliminate the relative positional deviation between both clamping members. SOLUTION: While a rotary shaft 13 is stopped, clamping parts 16, 17 are kept in the released posture. In this condition, a wire W is introduced between the clamping parts 16, 17. A motor is driven to turn the rotary shaft 13, and centrifugal blades 14, 15 are turned around pins 18, 19 by the centrifugal force. As a result, the clamping parts 16, 17 are displaced in the clamping posture to hold the wire W. Because a side part of the other clamping part 17 is surrounded by side plate parts 30A, 30B of a bracket 30 fitted to one clamping part 16, and the clamping parts 16, 17 integratedly clamp the wire W in a condition where the relative deviation is regulated. The wire W is stranded in the turning direction of the rotary shaft 13.
|
