<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greeting display device which can cultivate a spirit of compromise in traffic manners, promote a smooth flow of traffic and reduce traffic accidents by indicating gratitude of a yielded side to a yielding side when two cars pass each other. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a display means 2 with a luminous unit 2b provided at a position which can be confirmed from a driver's seat in an oncoming car just before passing by the oncoming car, a display means 3 with a luminous unit 3b provided at a position which can be confirmed from a driver's seat in an oncoming car just before passing by the oncoming car, a switch 5 to turn on and off a power unit to activate luminous units 2b and 3b of display means 2 and 3, and a buzzer 4, which is a sound generating means to generate sound interlocked with the switch 5. Gratitude to a driver in an oncoming car is conveyed by visual sense and sound by operating the switch 5.</p> |
