PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a self-adhesive tape which enables airtight application easily without fail by forming a crease in the form of a V-shaped groove near at the center of one side of a substrate sheet having a specified moisture premeability, forming a self-adhesive layer on the other side, and sticking, to the self-adhesive layer, a release paper having a split line near at its center. SOLUTION: A substrate sheet having a moisture permeability of 10g/m<2> /24hr or lower is used. For instance, a crease in the form of a V-shaped groove is formed near at the center in the longitudinal direction on one side of a substrate sheet (e.g. a polyester resin sheet having thickness of 50-100μm) 1 so that the sheet can be easily folded inside. Then, an acrylic self-adhesive is applied to the other side of the sheet 1 and dried to form a 50-70μm-thickness self-adhesive layer 2. To the self-adhesive layer 2 is stuck a release paper which comprises a plastic film, etc., having one side subjected to release treatment with a silicone resin, etc., and which has a thickness of 40-160μm and a split line, thus giving the objective self-adhesive tape. This tape enables airtight application even at sites where the application work is difficult, such as on bent surfaces at external or internal angles.
