The indicator has movement (4) mounted on a printed circuit (1) and spindle (5) which protrudes through a forward face (2) and supports an indicating needle (6) over a dial (3). A light emitting diode (13) is suspended over the axis (15) of the needle by a bracket (14). The diode (13) enters the needle top cap (9) through an orifice (10) and its light is reflected outwards and downwards by a face (16) on the surface of the needle. The light bracket is secured to the printed circuit (1,18) and to the forward face and the leads (17) supplying the light emitting diode are soldered to the printed circuit. |
