The joint has a femoral section (1) with an intercondyle cage (6) defining a transverse face (15) at its front. The rear face of the prosthesis has a curved surface (17) defining a cam shape and the cam and transverse faces defining a seating (18). A meniscal section (3) has glenoid surfaces (30) which are congruent to the condylar posterior sections (5). the miscal sections has a recess to receive a lug (22).
