The measuring element for an air mass meter has a temp. sensor (5), for determining a typical temp. giving the heat supply in a resistance (3), is designed on a heat transmission path of a configuration element (12), which support a substrate (2), on which the heatable resistance (3) for measuring the air mass is arranged. The heat transmission path itself is supported at a supporting section (2a) of the substrate (2), which is supported by the configuration element, or at a section located between the supporting section (2a) and the heatable resistance (3).
