摘要 PURPOSE:To generate electric power through the reaction of air in the atmosphere with fuel gas via a solid electrolyte by flowing air as an oxidizing agent through an air passage at the center of a cylindrical body formed with a conductive ceramic material, and further flowing fuel gas such as hydrogen gas along the outside of a fuel electrode material as an outermost layer. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 21 having an air passage 20 at the center thereof and projected rows 22 on the external surface thereof approximately in a coiled wire direction is formed with a conductive porous ceramic material. The external side of the cylindrical body 21 except the tip surfaces of the projected rows 22 is covered with a solid electrolyte 23 and an inter-connector 25 is fitted to the tip face of the rows 23 not covered with the electrolyte 23. Furthermore, a fuel electrode material 24 is provided on the external surface of the electrolyte 23. Also, the ceramic material is made of perovskite lanthanum complex oxide expressed by the formula. and an electrolyte type cylindrical fuel cell proper is obtained. In the formula, 0<=X<=1mole, M* stands for earth metal and M** for Mn or transition metal respectively.
