HF power oscillator e.g. for medical application

The HF power oscillator includes a switching mode power amplifier (1), and an output filter (2) with at least one series and at least one parallel resonator circuit. A digital controller (4) and an oscillator are provided. The energising voltage frequency of the amplifier is generated at the start of the oscillation by the digital controller at the oscillator clock. The digital controller filters feedback from the HF power oscillator such that the energising voltage frequency of the amplifier lies in a defined frequency range.
