PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform editing for inserting a document without performing any special operation for style conversion and spoiling the unity with the original style of a document at the insertion destination. SOLUTION: The document editing device with an editing function for inserting a 2nd document into a 1st document is equipped with a unity judgment part 28 which judges the style of the 2nd document when the insertion of the 2nd document into the 1st document is indicated, judges the style of the 1st document from the place of the insertion of the 2nd document into the 1st document, and further judges whether or not the unity between the judged style of the 2nd document and the judged style of the 1st document can be maintained and a unity holding part 30 which performs a style converting process for converting the style of the 2nd document into the decided style of the 1st document by a 1st document style judgment part when the unity judgment part 28 judges that the unit can not be held. |
