PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve delay in the timing of display on a guidance display by controlling the timing of discrimination due to a discriminating means and timing for guiding the discriminated result of discriminating means on a guiding means corresponding to the kind of vehicle discriminated by a car type discriminating means. SOLUTION: An optical sensor 4, step board sensor 5 and imaging device 6 perform vehicle detection, car type discrimination and axle detection. When a car type discriminator 41 detects a vehicle, a starting command is transmitted from a 1st antenna 11 to on-vehicle equipment 3 loaded on the detected vehicle. The on-vehicle equipment 3 receiving this command transmits a prescribed response. When this response is received by the 1st antenna 11, a control part discriminates that the detected vehicle enables normal radio communication. When the radio communication between the on-vehicle equipment 3 and respective antennas is normally finished, a required message is guided and displayed on a display 21. Thus, in the case of ordinary car, the timing to discriminate communication disability is controlled corresponding to the kind of vehicle from the transmission of starting command to the detection of 2nd axle. |
