DEVICE FOR DETERMINING PRESSURE OF RESERVOIR FLUID SAMPLE IN SAMPLER

FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this device allows for determining by manual methods of pressure of deep-taken sample of reservoir fluid directly in receiving chamber of sampler without opening of shut-off valve. Reservoir fluid pressure can be determined within unlimited range and measurements are made at any stage of investigation of reservoir fluids. Installed in receiving chamber at side of supporting ring by means of standard threaded connection is hand-operated plunger pump. Pump body is hermetically sealed by flexible circular sealing member for formation of internal space. Created in this space by pump is hydraulic pressure brought to bear on separating piston of receiving chamber. Aforesaid pressure is equal in value to pressure of reservoir fluid under separating piston. Built in pump body is pressure gauge for measuring hydraulic pressure acting upon separating piston. Pressure gauge communicates with internal space by means of through-passage made in body of plunger pump. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwgw
