The sector neutralisation method has a security lighting unit (10) which has a plug plugging into a mains wall socket. In the case where mains voltage is not available, an emergency light (38) switches on. Electronic circuits (39A,39B,39C) monitor current flow, and determine whether the mains plug is inserted in the wall socket. If it is not inserted in the socket, the circuit is broken (C) and activation of emergency lighting in the area prevented. |
