Inhaler for medicinal products comprises a housing (6) containing an electric motor (1) powering a fan (2) to drive pulsed ambient air through a heating resistance (4) and a porous element (8) impregnated with the medication, resting on a supporting grille (7). The inhaler preferably has a handle (10) with a switch (11) for turning it on or off, and the housing (6) is surmounted by a shaped outlet (9) for directing a flow of heated air charged with the medicinal product towards the upper airways. The medication is e.g. in the form of solid tablets which are vaporised by the action of the heated air flow. Reduced moisture content in inhaled substance, no risk of burning with hot water, and no need for major cleaning. |
