<p>Tandem rear axle air suspensions for trucks and truck-tractors wherein a non-reactive, roll compliant drive axle suspension (5) equipped with wheel slip control is combined with a roll stable, non-drive tag or pusher axle suspension (6) equipped with structure for transferring weight to the drive axle suspension (5). Preferably, the non-drive tag or pusher axle suspension (6) is a rigid beam suspension. The wheel slip control and the weight transfer structure may be either automatically or manually operated.</p> |
