The invention concerns a method for making a glass substrate with a multicoloured image or decoration in heat-set ink(s), which consists in making a model of the multicoloured image or decoration in any type of ink(s) on a base suited to these inks. By means of a reproduction device consisting of image acquiring means, a software for processing images and printing means, the model is transferred onto the substrate using one or several heat-set inks. The ink layer is then heat-set.
