<p>Polluted effluent aeration treatment rotor Rotary impeller which violently agitates an open surface of a liquid to promote absorption of oxygen from the air. The rotor has a central cone which is lowered, apex first, into the liquid, and impeller blades formed as right-angled triangles with hypoten uses attached to an annular flange surrounding the base of the cone. Each blade extends from the base of the cone to the outer circumference of the flange and in plan view lies back at an angle of about 45 degrees to a radius passing through the centre of the blade. The rotor is of simple robust construction and provides highly efficient aeration.</p> |
