The third conveyer is driven through a variable-speed drive from the second conveyer, whereby its speed can be made to be less than that of the second conveyer, so as to avoid damage to the sheets in striking the stop 29. The third conveyer is connected to a separate drive motor and to the second conveyer through freewheels, both of which are arranged to transmit drive to the final conveyer. |
