PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remedy warp caused by surface processing, to keep a gap between the circumferential surface of a toner carrying member uniform and to maintain the uniformity of developing efficiency. SOLUTION: The lower surface of the flat plate part 15a of a doctor 15 is processed by sand blasting processing so that the surface roughness thereof becomes about 70% of the grain size of toner. Then, a V-shaped notch 16 is formed at plural positions, for example, three places on the upper surface of a supporting part 15b. By processing the lower surface of the plate part 15a so that the surface roughness becomes fine, the surface area thereof is increased. Since the lower surface of the plate part 15b is positioned at the lowermost part of the doctor 15, the doctor 15 is warped so as to project downward. Then, when the notch 16 is formed at the plural positions in a longitudinal direction on the upper surface of the supporting body 15b positioned at the uppermost part of the doctor 15, the upper surface of the supporting part 15b is pushed to be flared in the longitudinal direction by force actuated from a notching blade and the warp is remedied. |
