PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the error of a focal distance caused by the backlash phenomenon of a gear when a zooming action is executed from a telephone side to a wide side by moving a lens barrel in an identical direction besides in set time after it arrives at a target zooming position. SOLUTION: When a wide switch S2 is actuated in order to photograph an object by a wide angle, a wide signal is outputted by an action control part 40. By a lens barrel driving part 60, the lens barrel is moved to the wide side from a present position by normally rotating a zoom motor M. By an encoder 10, the focal distance obtained by the movement of the lens barrel is measured. By the movement of the lens barrel, the contact point state of the encoder 10 is changed and a zoom position signal corresponding to the change is outputted to the control part 40. By the control part 40, the position of the lens barrel is judged based on the zoom position signal. When the lens barrel is moved to the target wide position, it is moved to the wide side besides in the prescribed set time. Thereafter, the wide zooming action is finished. |
