PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eye-piece barrel and a binocular microscope of a small sized and compact constitution permitting to adjust an inclination, direction, and pupil distance. SOLUTION: In each of a pair of light fluxes emitted from an objective lens system are arranged a 1st optical unit 4 reflecting and deflecting the light flux emitted from the objective lens system by 90 degrees, a 2nd optical unit 5 reflecting and deflecting the light flux emitted from the 1st optical unit 4 by 180 degrees, a 3rd optical unit 6 reflecting and deflecting the light flux emitted from the 2nd optical unit 5, and an eye-piece 7 arranged in the light flux emitted from the 3rd optical unit 6. And, when the 2nd optical unit 5 is rotated about an optical axis A2 by an angleθ, a rotation adjusting mechanism rotates the 3rd optical unit 6 about an optical axis A3 by an angle 2θand makes it possible for the 3rd optical unit to slide in the emitted light axis A3 of the 2nd optical unit 5.
