PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring the rocking of a navigating body in which the rocking of a navigating body such as ship can be measured without using integrating processing or using a device requiring a complicated maintenance. SOLUTION: A fixed station B for receiving the emitted radio wave of a GPS artificial satellite is provided in a known position on the land, and three receivers 11a, 11b, 11c are provided on the hull of a vessel with longitudinal and lateral spaces. The relative positions to the fixed station of each receiver 11a, 11b, 11c (initial base line vector Va, Vb, Vc) are measured, the change of the relative positions (change portionΔVa,ΔVb,ΔVc of each vector Va, Vb, Vc) is then measured by GPS kinematic position measurement, and the rocking of a ship S such as rolling is calculated from the change of the relative positions. |
