SUBSTANCE: glass composition comprises, mol.%: SiO<SB>2</SB>, 17.6-21.6; P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, 0.8-3.5; Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 9.0-11.0; Na<SB>2</SB>O, 0.5-3.0; MO, 17.9-19.7; F, 42.2-54.2; where MO is BaO, BaO-CaO, BaO-SrO, BaO-CaO-SrO. Glass composition may comprise, mol.%: SiO<SB>2</SB>, 20; P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, 2; Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 10; Na<SB>2</SB>O, 2; MO, 18; F, 48. Proposed glass composition comprising barium oxide may be added into dental cement composition. Said composition after its hardening is non-transparent for irradiation but it is transparent for visible light. EFFECT: simplified roentgenographic examination of caries. 20 cl, 1 tbls
