FIELD: materials handling facilities; lifting and transportation facilities with self-contained generators and storage batteries. SUBSTANCE: vehicle winch reversing electric drive has DC electric motor connected through duty selector switch with rectifier of synchronous generator furnished with voltage relay-regulator of vehicle-carried storage battery. Novelty is connection of isolating diode between plus terminals of storage battery and generator which supplies electric motor with controlled current at voltage several fold higher than rated voltage of storage battery, and original scheme of reversible connection of electric motor with current stabilizing resistor and contacts of electromagnetic relay in field winding circuit to provide constant speed of which cable winding off.
