PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge effectively inserted and positioned in a printer. SOLUTION: The toner cartridge 1 is provided with a photoconductive drum having a central shaft 47. The shaft 47 is extended outside from both side parts of the cartridge 1 so that it can be lowered on a V-shaped positioning unit in the printer. The assemblies of a hopper, a toner adding roller and a developing roller are fitted to an assembly carrying the photoconductive drum through a spring. The hopper assembly is provided with central positioning surfaces 29a and 29b receiving a lower pressing member from the printer and a flat pressing edge brought into contact with the various kinds of rollers in the printer so that the drum is positively positioned and the contact state of the drum and the developing roller can be adjusted. A cover assembly is also provided with a flat positioning surface near the hopper and placed on a printer frame. |
