<p>The invention concerns a method for making breast implants abrasionproof and the resulting products. The method consists in producing an envelope (1) in silicone elastomer, in filling it during its manufacture with a gel (2) consisting of an organic product containing at least a hydroxyl or aldehyde group and subjected to an ionising radiation, the external coating (69 of the envelope being, at the end of its production, exposed to a gamma or beta radiation (7) ensuring its complete polymerisation. The invention also concerns the field of making implants for restoring surgery for patients having undergone a mastectomy as well as applications in plastic surgery.</p> |
