PURPOSE:To burn a treating gas of a very low heating value by using none or a slight amount of an auxiliary fuel. CONSTITUTION:A supplying of combustion air, a treating gas or a premixed gas and a discharging of a combustion gas are performed through heat storage bodies 4, 5, 6 and 7 and the flow of the combustion exhaust gas, the combustion air, the treating gas or the like to the heat storage bodies is changed over relatively to supply the combustion air, the treating gas high temperature and the like produced at a high temperature through the heat storage bodies heated by the combustion exhaust gas. A set of heat storage type burner systems thus arranged is set on a furnace body 14. Then, the combustion air and the processing gas or a premixed gas of both of the combustion air and the treating gas is supplied once preheated up to a high temperature at a high temperature efficiency by a direction heat exchange in a short time with the heat storage bodies. This enables the making up of a heating value necessary for maintaining of a flame based on the enthalpy held by the combustion air or the treating gas or both of the combustion air and the treating gas or a premixed gas existing at a high temperature thereby achieving a combustion of combustible substances in the treating gas with a low heating value below 400kcal/Nm<3> or a stable combustion of odorous components. |
