PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain excellent adhesion, tripping resistance and abrasion resistance along with chemical stability for contact with an ordinary solvent by providing a transparent protective sheet of polyester resin containing UV-ray absorbent on a coloring matter receptive layer. SOLUTION: A transparent protective sheet of polyester resin containing UV-ray absorbent is provided on a coloring matter receptive layer. Preferably, the transparent protective sheet is laminated on a receptor element through an adhesive and polyester is subjected to biaxial stretching. When an adhesive of phenoxy resin is employed, it is preferably applied by 0.5g/m or more onto the surface of the protective sheet. The UV-ray absorbent is colorless and it must exhibit a high absorbance in the region of 290-400nm. Furthermore, the UV-ray absorbent must be dissolvable into a coating solvent and phase separation from binder or crystallization must be prevented when the coating solvent is evaporated. |
