PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct easily the angular error of two driving systems and also the attitude of a moving body. SOLUTION: A machine tool is structured so that a moving body 13 arranged in a stationary part 11 such as a column is driven in the first axis and the second axis direction, and two sets of the first axis driving meansα1 andα2 are parallel installed in the stationary part, and a moving base 14 driven in the first axis direction by the first axis driving meansα1 andα2 is installed in the stationary part 11, and the second axis driving meansβ1 andβ2 are furnished on this moving base 14, and the moving body 13 is driven in the second axis direction by the second axis driving meansβ1 andβ2. A control device 40 is installed for controlling the driving meansα1,α2,β1,β2, and the zero setting of the driving meansα1,α2,β1,β2 is corrected by this control device 40 so that it is possible to correct the angular error of the first and second axes and the attitude of the moving body 13.
