PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method by which a liquid culture medium and oxygen can uniformly be fed to an organic cell and the proliferation of the cell can be promoted and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: A porous membrane 15 having holes without passing an organic cell C to be cultured therethrough is vertically obliquely arranged and a liquid culture medium is fed from the upper side onto the porous membrane 15 and made to flow down along the membrane surface. Thereby, the organic cell C is cultured on the other surface of the porous membrane 15.
