PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball point pen which can prevent the direct flow and back flow of ink, upward writing, writing scratch after impact. SOLUTION: In a ball point pen, a through hole and a bush 22 which had a tapered or spherical valve body receiving seat 14 on the rear surface are arranged opposite to the rear end of a tip 5 on the axis of a joint 3, a valve chamber 13 in which a valve body 15 is engaged loosely and a lead hole 20 which makes the valve chamber 13 communicate with an ink receiving tube 4 are installed in the rear, a tapered or spherical valve body receiving seat 14 is installed in the rear part of the valve chamber 13, a spring 16 is inserted into the inner hole of the tip 5, the rear end of the coil part of the spring 16 is installed unextractably from the tip rear end. The ends of rod shaft parts 17, 18 push the back of the tip ball held freely rotatably at the tip end part, the tip ball is contacted with the inner fringe of the ball holding part of the tip to prevent the outflow of ink, a valve body is contacted with the valve body receiving seat in the rear part of the valve chamber when the tip side is directed upward, and a lead hole is closed to prevent the back flow of ink. |
