PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the state of disabling the growth of plants under a desired environment from being caused by the mischievous operation of the third person. SOLUTION: A maker or the like operates a touch panel 26 and registers an ID number in a memory 52. This registration is performed through an input operation analytic part 27 by an ID number registration processing part 50. A user operates the touch panel 26 and inputs his own ID number. A lock control part 51 collates the ID number inputted by the user with the input number stored in the memory 52 and validizes input operation to affect the operation of plant rearing device for research by applying an unlock command to the input operation analytic part 27 and a display control part 28 only when both the ID number are coincident. When both the ID numbers are not coincident, the input operation to affect the operation of plant rearing device for research by applying a lock command to the input operation analytic part 27 and the display control part 28.
