The pallet consists of upper (2) and lower (3) decks made from slats with spacer bars (1) between the decks set at right angles to the slats. The upper deck is made from 6 or 7 parallel slats, while the lower deck has at least two slats fewer and spaced in between the slats of the upper deck. In addition, the end slats of the upper deck overlap the ends of the spacer bars.
