Catalyst and process for selectively reducing NOx in oxygen-containing combustion exhaust gases

Supported catalyst composition comprises TiO2, WO3 and V2O5 or their precursors and has a bimodal pore size distribution in the regions of 5-30 nm and 45-100 nm, preferably 10-30 nm and 50-100 nm. The V2O5 is distributed on the larger pores of the bimodal pore size distribution. Production of the catalyst composition is also claimed.
