An overhead conveyer system includes means to propel and space trolleys 16 along a track 12 suspended from a support 8, said means consisting of an impeller 64 mounted on a reciprocable pusher-rod 22, the rod being axially connected to the piston-rod 26 of a reciprocating hydraulic motor 28 such that during operation of the motor the pusher dog 66 of the impeller will move the trolleys to the right during one stroke of the piston-rod and will move to collect another trolley during the opposite stroke thereof. The pusher rod 22 is supported on spaced parallel tracks 46 by a carriage 52 having wheels formed by the outer races of ball-type bearings. |
