<p>The insulating panel (1) comprises decorative panels (3) which give the appearance of bricks or other materials. The decorative panels are held in a foam layer (4). The joints (7) between the panels is made of sable bound by a foamed synthetic material which forms a micro-concrete. This contains reinforcement (11) which is incorporated and runs along the direction of the joints. The reinforcement consists of two or more branches (17,17) attached to a rounded central section (13). The central section forms a rounded cup at right angles to the branches. The cup is sufficiently high to surround the head of a screw when it is attached to the wall. The branches of the reinforcement may have ridges on the branches which resist the tensile forces created when the panel is screwed to the wall.</p> |
