This is a device whose aim is to open or close the discharge opening of sinks, being formed from a principal body 1 located in the lower part of the sink 4 and a bowl 9 arranged over the opening of the sink, joined by means of screws 8 to the principal body, and which contains the openings for the passage of liquid 14, containing a movable assembly which can be displaced internally which incorporates the cover seal 18, it being possible easily to dismantle this assembly through the action of an upper clip 27, said assembly being equipped with a filter 20 which prevents the passage of solid particles. This movable assembly can be displaced vertically by means of an actuator runner 23 which moves in one of the horizontal conduits 7 from which the principal body 1 is made, making it possible for the movement to be converted with minimum effect on the part of the user as a consequence of the reducing effect achieved by the actual configuration of the actuator runner 23. <IMAGE>
