Continuous two directional dehydration of sludge. Suspension, esp. sludge from sewage or industrial waste, is dehydrated by causing moisture to flow towards both faces of filter cake, by pressure and/or suction, as in DT 1903974. Method is improved by causing flow first in one direction, then in the opposite direction, pref. in two distinct stations of the dehydration plants, the material moving continuously from the first to the second. |
