The strips of a Venetian blind are adjusted by an actuator (11, 12), the length of which varies with temperature. The length change can be transformed into a variation of the length of the pull cords acting on the strips. The expansion actuator moves a gear which converts the length change of the actuator into the rotary movement of a drum around which the cord is wound. The gear may operate against the force of a restoring spring (20). The actuator may be linked to a radiation absorber. |
