PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency braking device for an automobile to be manufactured at a comparatively low cost and perform stable braking as a brake time and a brake distance during rapid braking are eminently decreased. SOLUTION: An emergency braking device for an automobile comprises sensing means 23 to sense that a pressure exerted on a brake pedal 1 by pedaling a brake pedal 1 by a driver, exceeds a given pressure; and emergency brake means placed in the given position of an engine output shaft, preferably in the given position of a fly wheel 19, and operated when it is sensed by the sensing means 23 that a pressure exceeding a given pressure is exerted on the brake pedal 1, and exerting a brake force on the given position of the fly wheel 19. |
