PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic instrument giving a performance diversity by generating a musical sound according to a second signal different from a first signal and controlling the characteristic of the musical sound based on an envelope signal. SOLUTION: The envelope signal ENV and an envelope depth signal EDEP inputted to an effect adding device 22 are multiplied by a multiplier 30, and the multiplied result and a speed signal SPEED are added by an adder 32 to be inputted to an LFO 34 as an LFO rate signal LRT. The LFO 34 generates a sine wave signal SIN of a frequency answering to the LFO signal LRT. The multiplier 36 multiplies the sine wave signal SIN by an auto-panning depth signal PDEP to output it to a panpot device 38 as a panpot signal PANP. Then, the panpot device 38 forms two musical sounds WAVEL, WAVER at a ratio answering to the panpot signal PANP based on a digital musical signal WAVE to output them to D/A converters respectively. |
