FIELD: manufacture of guns, in particular, guns for space firing of projectile. SUBSTANCE: length of gun barrel made for providing of the specified level of gas pressure on the projectile path is unlimited, for instance, for space firing of projectile; the projectile has a body with a cylindrical part and two driving bands, the distance between driving bands is within (a,b), where a - maximum axial dimension of holes in joints of the barrel and lateral ducts; b - length of projectile body cylindrical part. Besides, the barrel may be made for provision of gas pressure on the projectile path close to the maximum level; it may be made with lateral ducts and furnished with nozzles.
