<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color developer ensuring a slight change of the consumption of the toner even at high temp. and humidity, maintaining stable development-transfer efficiency over a long period of time and preventing the lowering of image density and the increase of fog at low temp. and humidity. SOLUTION: This color developer consists of a carrier and a color toner contg. fine resin particles and nonmagnetic colored resin particles contg. polyester binder resin and a colorant. The particle diameter of the fine resin particles is 0.05-2μm. When the dielectric tangent of the fine resin particles at 1kHz frequency, that at 1MHz frequency, the dielectric tangent of the nonmagnetic colored resin particles at 1kHz frequency and that at 1MHz frequency are represented by A1, A2, B1 and B2, respectively, the relations of 1.60<=A1/A2<=3.00, 0.10<=B1/B2 <=0.50 and 1.10<=A1/A2-B1/B2<=2.90 are satisfied.</p> |
