<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the timer recording automatic correction system and its correction method in which timer recording is conducted as desired by the user even when extension or the like of a broadcast time takes place in a program broadcast before a reserved program by using the infra-structure or the device or the like conducting timer recording having been spread already. SOLUTION: After the input operation of timer reservation information by a reservation entry means 7, when time comes a prescribed time before a timer recording start time stored in a reservation storage means 8, an automatic communication means 10 accesses a server 1 on a network automatically and down-loads program information relating to a program whose recording is reserved by a program information storage means 5 via a communication means. A program recording communication 9 outputs a control signal to control the program recording operation based on the down-loaded program information to a recorder 11 via a transmission line 14, in which the program is recorded.</p> |
