<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption by lowering a source voltage in a period wherein a video signal is not inverted. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal driving device has a picture quality adjusting circuit 10 composed of a terminal 1, a clamp circuit(CLIP 3, a sample holding circuit(S/H) 4, aγcorrecting circuit(GAMMA) 5, a bright adjusting circuit(BRT) 6, and a gain adjusting circuit(GAIN) 8. Further, an inverting amplifier 11, a source voltage changeover switch 12, which is connected to the inverting amplifier 11, and a liquid crystal display panel 2 are provided. The source voltage changeover switch 12 selects a high-voltage source B in a period wherein the video signal is inverted by the inverting amplifier 11 and selects a low- voltage source A in a period wherein the video signal is not inverted to drive the liquid crystal display panel 2. Consequently, the power consumption of the liquid crystal driving device is reducible.</p> |
