PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the rotational position with high accuracy by equipping a detector with a low-pass filter which removes higher harmonic wave components by supplying the exciting coil wound on the magnetic poles in pair at the periphery of a stator with pulses in rectangular waveform, and adding the detecting value of the magnetic poles in a pair, where the phase of electric angle is slid by a specified angle to the detection value of the exciting current of the coil by the voltage, so as to rectify it. SOLUTION: Arranging properly each pole tooth 1a and 2a of a magnetic pole m1 and a rotor 2 in the same-phase position will shift the several magnetic pole teeth 1a and 2a of a magnetic pole 3 and a rotor 2, a magnetic pole m5 and a rotor 2, and a magnetic pole 7 and a rotor 2 by 90 deg., 180 deg., and 270 deg., respectively, in electric angle phase. A signal generator outputs pulse signals to the several exciting coils of magnetic poles m1-m32, and two-phase sine waves that a low-pass filter has produced, removing the components of higher harmonic waves from the output signal of a synchronous rectifying circuit are used as the magnetic pole signals of a two-phase pulse motor. Consequently, even if the gap between several magnetic pole teeth of the stator and the rotor of a magnetic position measuring instrument changes, the rotational position of the pulse motor can be detected with high accuracy. |
